The Calling of an Artisan
I have enjoyed a successful career in the corporate world - a leader in my field, and loved my job; life could not have been better. Yet, there was something burning deep within me - that cognizant feeling, that instinctual knowing to create art and to share my art, was just too overwhelming to ignore.
I created my company Appealing Environments as a space to create and share my art with family, friends and my community. As an avid rock collector, and a sense of creativity with Mother Nature, I created a unique line of Rock Art. I have always felt that Mother Nature produces the most beautiful specimens to work with. I find such beauty in the rough stones that I have chosen, and in the art of tumbling them for weeks in a rock tumbler to a fine polished sheen. Meeting new friends and sharing with them the art that I have created, and seeing their joy, has been the most rewarding experience of any.
Each stone gives off its own vibration and energy and can help with any number of ailments, or can assist with prevention of imbalances to the body. I experience such joy in explaining to friends the healing that a simple rock can give. Not so simple, if you can imagine the energy and time the earth had to use to create such a magnificent piece. This positive energy can be found in each item I make, service I provide and from following my calling to share my creations with you.

Appealing Environments was created in 1998 and has given me an outlet to express my creativity with my community over the past decade. I have never stopped creating art, from a young child to a young-at-heart adult. I have been sharing my creations with my family and friends, and now you. The creations have always come from the heart and take time to come to a final stage from their first conception. These pages are a culmination of some pieces that I would like to share with you. Come back again - I am sure you will find new holistic artistic creations in the near future.
